it's funny how we don't really value anyting until the potential for it to be gone exists.

this shit's for the birds. speaking of birds, there were birds all over the deck at work today, eating out of the bird feeder, which is perfectly appropriate. it reminded me how my cat used to sit on the couch staring out at the bird feeder with a predatory look on her face. so cute! i miss sam.
