It has been harder and harder to get to sleep in my bed lately. Instead of falling peacefully to sleep now, I take about 20 min to situate myself and get comfortable, which results in one or both of my arms hurting, one or both of my sides exposed to my freezing room, and one or both of my legs cramped, confined, or just generally in discomfort. Hmm. Now, I question this recent phenomenon because in all the years I've spent with my bed, I've found nothing but a soothing haven of comfort, warmth, and fit...well, except when Bob's in it because let's face it, he's a huge bitch and is probably 3x as big as the bed itself (love ya Bob). But seriously, what is the problem here?? The only other occupant in my bed with me the majority of the time is Stitch, and we've all established that he is the most huggable thing ever! So I continue to ask, what's the deal??
In an unrelated story, Kate and I still don't have a cat. Yet the bastard animal shelter still feels justified in calling me and waking me up (3rd time this week this morning). As Bubu pointed out to me the other day, it's almost seemingly easier to adopt a child than it has proven to be to adopt a cat. Blah. But we strive on and hopefully on Monday we can finally bring one home. But I've uncrossed my fingers at this point, so who knows.
I bid good luck to my best guy in his quest for a job. The sooner he gets a job, the sooner he can pay off my Visa bill for me :P I heart you, Bob!
