I recall thinking about this time last year that I'd like to look into other jobs, specifically ones that allow me to do more of what I majored in. I even recall telling some folks that I only planned to stay at Community Hospitals for maybe 2 years at the most, for experience. Last night, I found myself talking to the mom of an old friend about my job. I believe I said at some point in time something like this: "I love my job and I have great co-workers and an awesome boss...I'm happy to stay at this job for another couple of years or so."
I thought about it later, and I wondered about the change in my perception. Is it due to laziness? Do I truly love my job enough to stay with a shitty wage and constant unsupportiveness from administration? Is it a feeling of obligation? Who knows!
This figuring-out-the-future stuff is OC...outta control, man.
