Well folks, it's decided; I'm giving up beef and pork for Lent (I toasted this Lenten sacrifice by eating a full and satisfying meal of White Castle bacon cheesburgers for dinner tonight...woohoo).

I just want to put this out there: if, in the next forty days, you see me eating beef or pork, let it be known that it won't be because I've fallen off the wagon...It'll be because I'm a retard and forgot that I had given it up. It's been quite awhile since I've given anything up for Lent; I've mostly just said "I'll do this" or "I won't do this" for Lent for the last couple of years. So this giving stuff up is going to be challenging, more so for me to just remember that I've given it up!

Oh, and I'm also going to try and attend church every Sunday during Lent, as well. So for all you fellow churchgoers out there, feel free to join me or invite me to go with you!
